AI Safety.
Quantum Readiness.
Half-day, hands-on workshops built on real scenarios, for cities, counties, state agencies and other public bodies. Your team works the cases; you leave with a written plan.
AI Safety
Your staff already use Copilot and ChatGPT. In this workshop each role works real cases and writes its own rules: what is allowed, what is disclosed, where a human signs.
- ✓A cloned voice of your finance director asks accounts payable to change a vendor’s bank details.
- ✓A reporter requests every ChatGPT prompt your staff wrote this year. Prompts are public records.
- ✓Copilot surfaces an HR folder to a whole department. Where was the permission gap?
- ✓Texas requires annual AI awareness training for state and local staff, certified by August 31.
- ✓Colorado’s automated-decision law takes effect January 2027.
- ✓Insurers now ask for your AI policy and training.
- ✓An acceptable-use policy and AI inventory
- ✓A deepfake and wire-fraud playbook for finance
- ✓A Copilot readiness checklist
Quantum Readiness (Federal Mandate)
In June 2026 the White House set post-quantum deadlines for federal systems and contractors: 2030, 2031, 2035. State and local agencies are not named, but your vendors, auditors and insurers now work to those dates. In this workshop your team builds the inventory from your own systems and writes the RFP language.
- ✓An auditor asks for your cryptographic inventory. You have 30 days.
- ✓A five-year vendor renewal lands with no post-quantum roadmap. What goes in the contract?
- ✓Records encrypted today must still be secret in 2040. Which systems hold them?
- ✓EO 14412 and OMB M-26-15, June 2026: federal migration plans due now.
- ✓CJIS 6.1 encryption controls become auditable October 2027.
- ✓San Diego and Cook County already have it in FY2027 plans. Only 14% of states have a quantum initiative.
- ✓A cryptographic inventory for your systems
- ✓A one-page readiness roadmap with your dates
- ✓RFP language for crypto-agility
Format and price
Each track runs at three levels: a tabletop for executives, a working session for managers, a lab for practitioners. Run one or all three in a day. Online or on site.
- ✓Tabletop: one scenario, your decisions
- ✓The risk in plain language
- ✓What a defensible position costs
- ✓Workshop: policy and inventory written in session
- ✓Vendor and RFP language
- ✓Controls without new budget
- ✓Lab on a copy of your environment
- ✓Standards on current firmware and tenants
- ✓Ranked findings for the manager
People who build post-quantum code and implement AI safety
SylLab builds post-quantum cryptography and puts AI safety controls into practice. The workshops are taught by the people who do that work. The lead instructor, Bart Slowik, CISSP, has worked with state and federal government.
